The 2018 Commonwealth Games was looming and with a new velodrome under construction, the brief was to increase the visibility of the main entrance for tourist buses and an expected increase in visitor traffic. Construction was to be managed by others and my role was to design an entry statement within an existing landscape plan, for maximum vehicular engagement, identifying the various sporting facilities available in the complex.
