With students having difficulty navigating the new Oral Health Centre, my role was to audit the existing wayfinding suite and develop solutions. The key point of confusion for visitors was arriving on level 4, not the expected ground, so we needed to orient the user vertically as well as laterally, with visible floor numbers installed up the main atrium, and tall directional plinths visible from alternate level entry points down the hillside.
