Description...

A successful hairdressing duo were looking to launch a mens barber brand and came to me to develop the identity positioning and pilot project. Taking the name Heroes and Villains and giving both elements equal merit, as the villain is usually the more interesting character in popular culture, the idea was to create a masculine presence without resorting to the trend of gold leaf, tatts and beard aesthetic popular at the time. The identity evolved and was set to launch but unfortunately never materialised, with the partners going their separate ways. Such a pity.
