Capital P is an adventure in the textual and textural. Launched in 2012, it was a catalyst to draw together local artists and designers, authors and readers, photographers and illustrators, creators and collectors, to produce well considered, carefully crafted books and enduring ephemera. Like all good side-projects, this was an opportunity to have some fun and push the processes of the studio and the website was no exception. After realising we would be relying heavily on social media to promote the products we decided to combine the tech and build a website that used Twitter as its CMS, with all content on the website originating as a tweet from @CapitalP including product images and shipping details.
The constant API updates and restrictions got a bit much and eventually we archived it to a BigCartel site, releasing the odd piece from time to time, like a wall calendar for 2021.
