Artspace Mackay was holding an exhibition of 15 local artists looking forward and looking back at the last 150 years of Mackay, by reinterpreting various artefacts within the state collection into new works of artwork. We were asked to develop the printed catalogue, which played on the theme of back and forth. Each artist was allocated a spread, reflecting on an artefact, and their artistic response.
