After designing a book to celebrate her 10th year, Jan approached me to develop the gallery’s website, which lead to a decade long relationship for The Letter D, expanding into exhibition collateral and advertising, art fair displays and a complete identity refresh. The initial square artwork frame logo was broken into four edges or lines, which were used to divide content across all items, from the website to stationery, and the plethora of applications an art gallery requires. A dream client in many respects, given the subject matter and the ongoing commissions from artists for books and websites, as well as the gallery’s clientele.
