With Brisbane set to host the 2010 Biennial Awards, AGDA asked me if I wouldn’t mind being the local creative director. I said yes, despite underestimating the time and effort involved in managing the entire event -- luckily it boosted the profile of The Letter D, with invitations to speak at national design events. The graphic intent was to showcase AGDA’s much-maligned identity typeface Times New Roman and show a design-focused audience how to embrace it.
