The Spinks & Co cards have been printed using the same DocuColor press as the Hughes cards, to achieve a waxy finish on the main logotype.

Coloured stock has been used to allow internal documents to be printed through a black laser printer – which minimises colour variation and ink usage – while maintaining the identity.

Martin Spinks was looking to setup his own development firm and asked The Letter D to develop the name and identity suite.

Spinks & Co was chosen to take advantage of the distinctive sound of the founder’s name, with a rework of the typeface Georgia to emphasise both the sound and his approach – sharp.

A holding website has been launched with an evolving suite of stationery to come…

SPI / CD Launch

Marty Spinks‘ band Lord Bardon needed an urgent identity and touring paraphernalia for the launch of his debut CD at The Tivoli, in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley.

The Spinks family crest was reinterpreted with an altered version of the typeface Serifa.

Local Brisbane artist Marty Spinks‘ debut CD Moment in time will be released at a gala fundraising event for Youngcare on July 20th.

Marty asked The Letter D to develop the concept and artwork for the album, along with a suite of event collateral to promote the night.
