With a restrained street frontage by local architects Owen and Vokes, Vetwell‘s Alderley practice signage needed a considered treatment to maintain the architectural intent.

Ben Quilty’s foray into Rorschachs for his show at Jan Murphy Gallery was used as the basis for the invitation.
The Letter D produced a foldout poster, so that each spread could showcase a selected diptych, with the final foldout showing his main installation.

As one of the first businesses to build in the large-scale housing development of North Lakes, the North Lakes Veterinary Practice asked The Letter D to develop a friendly, professional presence.
With an application in to become a Hospital the signage needed to be updated in the future, so ‘Vet’ was used while approval goes through.

The Letter D decided to take a sartorial cue for Jan Murphy Gallery‘s annual Small Works exhibition card.
After developing a 90 page book for Jan Murphy Gallery’s 10 year anniversary, a refreshed identity was developed to take the Gallery into the next 10 years.
A typographic approach was taken, with the identity sitting in the background, allowing the art to take centre stage. The frame of the existing logo was broken down into its 4 sides, with these 4 lines now used to divide the information across various applications.
All collateral has been updated, from the stationery and invitation catalogues, through to the invoices and valuation certificates.
