The Letter D.

CLF / Identity Direction / 02.10.2006

Churchie’s old school camp was being redeveloped and The Letter D was asked to develop a concept for its new face, including the name, identity, and ongoing collateral.

As the intended use was going to be recreational camping a series of family-friendly four letter words were outlined that embodied the spirit of the place. This idea became the over-arching identity for the place, with Camp Lake Fire coming out front as the name.

A routable typeface was developed for the identity, with future signage applications in mind, allowing signage to be produced on-site.

MAC / Pentas Island Identity / 08.08.2005

Bribie Gardens was releasing its last remaining canal blocks, on their own island and needed a name and entrance statement to set the overall tone.

As the marketing was low-key, the idea was to take the name of the entry road, Pentas Drive, for both its sound and ease of integration into postal and Council maintenance requirements.

The five petalled Pentas flower was illustrated as a supporting graphic and positioned on one of two block walls, creating a grand statement on either side of the entrance onto the island.
