With a new show coming up, Berlin-based artist Matthew Cheyne asked The Letter D to update his existing website, developed in 2005.

SPI / Business Cards / 04.09.2009

The Spinks & Co cards have been printed using the same DocuColor press as the Hughes cards, to achieve a waxy finish on the main logotype.

Coloured stock has been used to allow internal documents to be printed through a black laser printer – which minimises colour variation and ink usage – while maintaining the identity.

AMS / Teaser Website / 11.08.2009

A small group of Sydney gallerists have banded together to organise a month of events, talks, exhibitions and tours to be known as Art Month Sydney, commencing in March 2010.

The Letter D was asked to develop the website, web-based mailout campaign and associated collateral for the initiative, including a Twitter theme and teaser site, which went live in time for the soft launch.

An initial flip-card identity style by Hayman Design was developed further to convey a calendar month, along with a completed alphabet to display within the flip-system.

SPI / Identity / 01.06.2009

Martin Spinks was looking to setup his own development firm and asked The Letter D to develop the name and identity suite.

Spinks & Co was chosen to take advantage of the distinctive sound of the founder’s name, with a rework of the typeface Georgia to emphasise both the sound and his approach – sharp.

A holding website has been launched with an evolving suite of stationery to come…

CLK / Identity Refresh / 10.09.2008

Moving into the limelight prompted an identity tweak for the bold new bespoke tailors at The Cloakroom, along with their in-house ready to wear range – Pistols at Dawn.

As they had commenced their public life as a blog, we decided to simply evolve the developed aesthetic, tweaking the logotypes and symbols to reinforce the connection between the two separate yet related entities.
