The Letter D.

TLD / Font Pixel family grows / 17.04.2009

The whole Font Pixel family came together over the Easter break, with a bold weight, small caps, oblique (italics) and a set of old-style (non-lining) numerals added – and to top it all off, the team at FontStruct have given it ‘Top Pick’ status…

As Trade Gothic (the typeface Font Pixel was based on) lacks a true italic, an oblique version was created, which was heavily influenced by Unibody Italic from Underware – who mastered the illusion of incline using vertically stacked pixels.

TLD / Font Pixel 2002 / 19.07.2008

This adaptation of Trade Gothic was created by shrinking the original font to a single pixel stroke width and then rebuilding it pixel by pixel to be suitable for small applications on screen.
