The Letter D.

FIN / Christmas Card 08 / 12.12.2008

For Fine Print‘s Christmas card this year, our idea was to combine as many of the graphic elements created for various Fine Print projects to date as possible, with a view to the year ahead in 2009.

JMG / Christmas Card 08 / 18.11.2008

For this year’s invitation to the Jan Murphy Gallery‘s annual Small Works exhibition The Letter D had a little abstract fun with circles and stars – all very Christmassy.

Once again Jan Murphy Gallery‘s resident master made an appearance on the Christmas window, this time with some friends in a paper chain – and we couldn’t forget Rudolph.

The recurring theme of using Jan Murphy Gallery‘s resident crowd controller as the Christmas window decoration has been maintained…

The Letter D developed a rough-cut vinyl application, with the offset window glazing used to display a moving shadow of the overall theme.

COO / Christmas 07 / 09.11.2007

The Christmas card for Coop used an altered version of their supporting pattern, with his highness up top.

The Letter D decided to take a sartorial cue for Jan Murphy Gallery‘s annual Small Works exhibition card.

FIN / Christmas 05 / 20.11.2005

For Fine Print‘s Christmas promotion we thought a book voucher from a local bookstore would be a nice gift for clients, and so the card was developed to match this. A perforated bookmark (above) displayed the clients from the year, as various book titles – including a sneaky plug for The Letter D, at the bottom.
