The Letter D.

FRA / Stationery / 01.07.2011

The Letter D produced a suite of stationery for Brisbane writer and editor Margie Fraser.

Curly brackets were used to encompass the diverse term {writer}, extending the idea that they indicate a series of choices, or in Margie’s case, a variety of publications.

SJA / Identity / 30.05.2011

A new identity, website, and stationery suite for Stephen de Jersey Architect.

The underline becomes the basis for the identity, emphasising the distinctive name and main subject, across all applications. Some economies were found across the two practice locations by simply rotating the letterhead, with the appropriate address right way up.

TLD / Sells Out / 04.03.2011

The Letter D’s ‘Flood Marker’ letterpress prints sold out at last night’s Queenslake exhibition, organised by The Hungry Workshop.

As a commemorative piece we thought we’d highlight the years the Brisbane River has made its presence felt, flowing under five (some only just) of its iconic bridges.

TLD / Queenslake Letterpress / 05.02.2011

An emerging letterpress studio approached The Letter D to develop a small two-colour print, to sell as part of a fund-raising appeal for the recent Brisbane floods.

An exhibition will be held in the coming month to sell the pieces, with contributions from Rinzen, Inkahoots, Kevin Finn, and their own studio, The Hungry Workshop, to name a few.

More info on the project here, with a sneak peek of our piece on their press, above.
