A Day on Earth‘s store in Brisbane now has a content managed Flash website, after an expansive online strategy undertaken by The Letter D for the store’s owners, Jan Murphy and Philip Bacon, in conjunction with the artist David Bromley.

After purchasing the National Australia Bank building, on the corner of Creek & Queen St, in Brisbane, Consolidated Properties asked The Letter D to develop the name and launch collateral for the overall refurbishment.
As it was at the heart of Brisbane’s financial quarter, and the tip of the ‘Golden Triangle’, a series of circles became the basis for the identity, with the street number of 308 fitting in nicely.
Dan Pike has been asked to sit on the judging panel for this year’s Queensland Design Awards.
Unfortunately we are unable to accept ‘gifts’ from interested parties – but we do like tasty cakes – and sponge isn’t, ok…
An identity concept for The Balfour. Taking our cue from the architecture, a symbol framework was built to extend across room numbers and pictograms. It has since become part of a hotel group so may not go ahead.
The Letter D has also produced a postcard to accompany the launch of Coop‘s website, using an interpretation of their identity’s supporting pattern – the Coop version of the world wide web.
Trivett Ventures held a dinner party recently to celebrate the commencement of works for a smart nine room hotel called The Balfour, being redeveloped from an old guesthouse.
The Letter D has been tasked with the identity and design programme, for The Balfour’s collateral and environmental signage suite.
